Welcome to our new home. Our apple hosted blog has been home to our adventures since Ryan and I have been married 4.5 years! Since 2010 alone we have 376 blog posts. All saved as PDF’s for the time someday when I might be able to print them and have them as a book. I have loved clicking on random posts and reading the amount of detail in some of our day to day lives. One of the reasons I have been able to do that is because the platform is so easy and quick to publish. I will miss iWeb, but I am looking forward to moving on. What I liked most about our blog was the ability to make our pictures large so people could see them. That is by far the most important element to our blog. Hopefully you will still be able to have an enjoyable reading experience. I love sharing with all of you dear loved ones my feelings. I have been working on the blog for a few weeks trying to bring it to life, and I am finally feeling like I am ready to make the switch.
I came up with the name of our blog, ‘miller marrow’ a few months ago when I realized that I really wouldn’t be able to stay with with our iweb platform because apple is discontinuing mobile me along with all blog features. Many of you may be thinking what could they be possibly be referring to…marrow? My mom’s expression displayed it best…furrowed brow “Marrow? ‘Sucking the marrow out of life’ has been the mantra of my life since I was 14, when I first heard that quote seen at the top of our blog from Henry David Thoreau. His ideas have always stuck with me through every season of my life so far. It is one of the reason’s Ryan and I both have been so successful with one another because we both share so much passion for life. Although the blog is a small look, showing mostly the pretty moments of our life – it is a tool for encouraging me to pursue my dream of living an abundant life, with no regrets, sucking all the marrow I can out of it.
I hate apathy. I love feeling thirsty, literally and metaphorically. I love quenching that thirst with ‘water on the rocks’ and an excellent adventure small or big! I loving having an appetite. I love to dream, especially with Ryan. This blog is about me sucking the marrow out of life with my family. I try to do this in the smallest areas of my life, as well as the more obvious.
