Some Simple Pleasures

Maybe I have been living under a rock (buying the cheapest garbage bags in the store) but somehow  Glad garbage bags ended up in my cart last week. My kind  is ‘Odor Shield’ with Lemon and oh my goodness, changing my garbage has literally become a simple pleasure. I pull out the fresh bag and me and Finn seriously just sniff it for a minute or two. It’s quite wonderful. Maybe the good garbage bags have always had good smells to them, but this is new to me!

While I am on the subject of random stuff, I saw on pinterest a home made concotion for febreeze and I am going to try it! I love this stuff but I always go through it so fast, especially for example when all three of us had diarrhea all week! It’s incredibly easy, they suggest 1/8 c. fabric softener, 2 tablespoons of baking soda (I love  b.s, I should have figured this had to be in there. It absorbs odors so well!), and then you just fill the rest of the bottle with water. I’ll let you know what I think!

When summer comes and all that seasonal fruit becomes available I am one happy girl. I have literally a huge case of strawberries, half a flat of raspberries, blackberries, pears, nectarines, apples, and a case of mango’s all in my fridge right now. I was ready to eat my weight in fruit and enjoy it before getting sick. I’m sure you all have to be just nodding your head in agreement, this is the best time of year! If just for all the amazing food you can actually afford and have it be quality! YUM!!! Sorry love dove, I did go a little crazy at the store but I swear even if I have to cut up everything and freeze it, I will not let it go to waste!
