Ryan is home! Our family is together once again, I cannot begin to describe how happy I am to have Ryan here. We will not be going through that again anytime soon, like ever. We have both grown so much as individuals through these two months apart. I can’t believe how doable my life seems now with him around. It’s a little freaky how quickly you adapt to being alone. It felt foreign having someone sleeping next to me!
My picture taking skills lately have been STRUGGS! Ryan loved the sign that we had out for him. A wonderful friend in the ward helped me make it for him. I have developed so many wonderful friendships with people here in California. They all have been so supportive.
I made Ryan the classic all American meal of ‘pot roast’. Yes, I cooked him COW! Lots of veggies on the side it was quite nice. Ryan flew into LAX at 3:15, our friends watched the boys. I knit the whole way home and enjoyed not driving. Hallelujah!
I made Ryan a birthday bundt, our favorite. It sort of collapsed on me. Haven’t had that happen. I think it might have been because it was so cold in our apartment. I may be blasting the air con way hard right now. I think it came out of the oven and literally shrank in the 65 degree temperature!
