Our Last California Beach Walk

IMG_431727  August 2013    We caught a beautiful sunset Sunday night at Crystal Cove. We had our last beach walk together Sunday night. That place is truly food for the soul. It’s amazing that on a weekend night in Orange County the beach looks like this. Not a soul out there – except for this fellow marrow sucker. (I snagged his picture as he made his way in. I let him know where he could track down a picture of himself if he wanted it) I didn’t even touch any of the settings. That’s just how my settings took it. Wow. Some of you probably know Ryan left yesterday for Dubai at 8am. I don’t think he’s going to have any trouble adjusting time zones because he didn’t sleep on the plane!

Goodness goodbyes are hard for me, and I am going to see Ryan in ten days. I worry about him being so far. Two down – eight more days to go – until I head over with the boys and Grandma Cindy. I have been sleeping like a rock. I am always so tired, but boy hanging solo, I am exhausted and fall asleep the minute my head hits the pillow. My parents have planned a surprise visit. They are coming into town tomorrow and we are hitting up Disney Land. Yes! One of my only regrets is that I hadn’t taken the boys one last time. They are at such a great age to enjoy the park. I can’t wait for Jude to see Cars at California Adventure! Disney Land is really something special if you have never gone.
